Rural Summit Update
In preparation for the Rural Summit, my office will be hosting a workshop to hear feedback on the rural priorities that are important and should be addressed at the summit. This workshop is scheduled for Monday, April 29th.

Ward Updates

Leaf and Yard Waste
The City will begin weekly collection of leaves and other yard waste on Monday, April 15th. For more information and helpful reminders on how to dispose of biodegradable material, please visit the City’s website here.

Construction Updates

Update on Fernbank Road Culvert Replacement
The work happening on the Fernbank Road Culvert replacement project is well underway. City staff expect the roadway to be reopened within the planned timeline of 4-5 weeks.

Notice of Long Island Road Closure
Long Island Road in Manotick (from Bridge Street to Elizabeth Avenue) will be closed nightly from 7:00pm-6:00am from Sunday, April 28th to Friday, May 10th. This work is necessary for the installation of the new watermain.

Residents may have already received or should expect to receive a letter in the mail with more information about this project.
