2026 Rural Budget Consultation

Have Your Say: 2026 Rural Budget Consultation

The City of Ottawa is beginning work on the 2026 Draft Budget, and resident feedback is a crucial part of the process. This is your opportunity to help shape how the City invests in the services, programs, and infrastructure that matter most to our rural communities.

Rural residents are invited to attend a dedicated in-person budget consultation, co-hosted by Councillor Brown, Councillor Catherine Kitts (Ward 19), and Councillor Isabelle Skalski (Ward 20).

This meeting is your chance to:

  • Discuss City priorities and their impact on rural Ottawa.

  • Suggest ways to improve services in our communities.

  • Identify potential savings and new ideas.

  • Ask questions directly to your Councillors and City staff following a brief presentation.

Date & Time: Tuesday, October 28, 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Location: Fred Alexander Room, Osgoode Community Centre (5660 Osgoode Main Street)

How to Join: This is a free, drop-in event. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Can't attend in person? You can share your feedback online beginning Wednesday, November 12. For the most up-to-date list of all meetings and background materials, please visit the Budget 2026 Engage Ottawa page.
