🍁Canada Day Message
As we gather to celebrate Canada Day, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible spirit that defines our country. More importantly, our community here in Ward 21. From the shores of the Rideau River to the fields and farms that shape our rural heritage, we are truly fortunate to call this beautiful corner of Canada home.
Canada Day is more than a celebration of Confederation. It’s a day to honour the values that unite us: freedom, compassion, hard work, and service to others. It’s also a time to reflect on the generations who came before us and recommit ourselves to building a stronger, safer, and more inclusive future.
This year, I encourage everyone to take part in local festivities, support our small businesses, thank a volunteer, and share a moment of pride with family, friends, and neighbours. Let’s celebrate not just who we are as Canadians, but who we are as a community.
On behalf of my family and my team, I wish you a safe, joyful, and patriotic Canada Day.
May the red and white fly proudly over a summer filled with great memories.
