Residents are invited to visit the Goulbourn Museum during this year’s Doors Open Ottawa on June 6 and 7 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for a special weekend celebrating local heritage, craftsmanship, and community connection.

Talented members of Ottawa Olde Forge Rug Hooking will be demonstrating the timeless art of traditional rug hooking throughout the weekend. Visitors can watch beautiful textile works come to life, learn about the history behind this cherished craft, and connect with the artisans helping keep these traditions alive today.

The event also offers an opportunity to explore the rich history of Goulbourn Township through stories, exhibits, and conversations with Museum staff inside the historic Old Town Hall.
