Step into the history of the 100th Regiment of Foot in this fascinating evening presentation, presented in partnership with the 100th Regiment of Foot Historical Society. Explore two important aspects of the regiment’s history: the music that accompanied soldiers and the everyday life of the infantry.
Discover the history and role of the fife, drums, and bugle, and learn how music was used by soldiers during training and military life. Then, explore the equipment and traditions of the infantry, including the weapons they used, their uniforms, and how soldiers trained for military service.
Enjoy refreshments during breaks between the presentation segments before the evening concludes with a live musical performance featuring the regiment’s traditional instruments, followed by a Q&A session where you can ask questions and learn more about the regiment’s history.
