Pollinator Appreciation Day

Join the community for Pollinator Appreciation Day, a family-friendly celebration at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden. This year’s theme, "Start with a Tree," highlights the essential role trees play in supporting pollinators by providing spring nectar, food for caterpillars, and winter protection. Visitors can enjoy guided nature walks, talk with scientists and tree experts, and even participate in crafts like painting a mural or making a caterpillar. You will also have the chance to buy a native tree for your yard or try to win one in a free lottery.

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Location: Fletcher Wildlife Garden (Prince of Wales Drive, just south of the Arboretum)
