The Kiwanis Parade of Lights kicks off Christmas in the Village in Manotick to the delight of everyone who attends. Community members and families can look forward to marching bands, dance school groups, decorated floats, festive holiday music, and an appearance by Santa Claus. The parade route begins at the Manotick Community Centre, travels down Maple Avenue to Manotick Main Street, and heads south through the village before ending at Eastman Avenue. Organizers are also putting out a call for volunteers to help supervise barricades and assist along the route to keep the evening running safely.
