All community members are invited to a special screening of the critically acclaimed, award-winning film, "White School Black Memories: A Canadian Soldier's Story from Afghanistan." Based on the best-selling book by Winchester resident Chief Warrant Officer John G. Barnes, this film tells the story of one of the major Canadian battles in Afghanistan and is considered mandatory viewing for all Canadians.
The afternoon will include:
Book Signing: Meet the author, John G. Barnes.
Film Screening: A viewing of the full documentary.
Wine & Cheese: A meet-and-greet reception to follow the film.

How to Join: There is no cost to attend, but the screening is by donation to the Homes for Heroes Foundation.
