50th Anniversary Dickinson Days

Dates: June 4 – 7, 2026

Location: Historic Manotick Village & Dickinson Square

Hosted by: The Kiwanis Club of Manotick

Get ready to celebrate! Manotick’s most cherished annual tradition is turning 50. This year’s milestone Dickinson Days promises to be the biggest festival yet, aligning with the Ottawa 200 bicentennial to honor the rich history and vibrant community spirit of our village.

Gather with family, friends, and neighbors along the scenic Rideau River for four days packed with entertainment, heritage, and community fun.

Festival Highlights & What’s New for 2026:

  • The Inaugural Founders Table (June 4): Kick off the weekend with a unique, collaborative dining experience featuring top local culinary talent. This special evening doubles as a fundraiser for Watson’s Mill and honors the builders of our historic village.

  • The Dickinson Days Duck Race: Cheer on hundreds of rubber ducks as they race down the Rideau River! Sponsor a duck to join the fun—all proceeds go directly toward supporting Watson's Mill and Dickinson Square.

  • The Classic Favorites: Enjoy the beloved annual parade, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and bustling community gatherings all weekend long.

Celebrating Our History: "Dickinson Days is a shining example of the community spirit that has shaped Ottawa over the past 200 years," notes Mayor Sutcliffe. "...The 50th anniversary of Dickinson Days is not only a celebration of local tradition, but a reflection of how our villages have contributed to Ottawa’s history and future."
