Get ready to hit the water for a great cause! A local community initiative is hosting the 1st Annual Paddle Day in Manotick to help raise important funds for CHEO Mental Health Services. Whether you are looking to challenge yourself with a paddle scavenger hunt, win some cool prizes, or join a group adventure paddle, it is bound to be a fantastic day out on Mahogany Bay.

Here are the event details:

• Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026 (Rain date: Sunday, July 19, 2026)

• Time: Starting at Noon

  • Paddle Scavenger Hunt: Start anytime between Noon and 1:00 pm

  • Cool Prizes & Giveaways: 2:30 pm

  • Group Adventure Paddle: 3:30 pm

• Location: Manotick - Mahogany Bay (various put-in locations)

• Cost: * $25 per boat in advance ($30 on event day) – includes a quick-dry towel.

  • $50 per family of 3 or more – includes 2 towels.

  • Note: Registration and a towel are included if you rent your watercraft from Beth's on the Bay (Paddle n Play).
